1. Orders arrive as events, not exports. Webhook import means the order is in your record within moments of checkout; a nightly CSV means the record disagrees with the store all day. 2. Availability leads from the record. The store should publish what the inventory system knows — receiving at 7am is sellable at 7:05 — not maintain its own count that syncs down. 3. Fulfilment runs on the imported order. Delivery slips, picking and packing against the order in the inventory system, not a re-keyed copy. 4. Invoicing does not double up. Online sales are invoiced by the store into your accounting system; the inventory system must not invoice them again. That line is where double-counting revenue begins, and honest vendors state which side they are on.
