One platform, different operating realities
The BSimple platform was tailored to suit two industries at launch: Packaging and Coffee Roasters. Since then it has grown to serve a much broader range of Australian businesses — wholesale distribution, food manufacturing, breweries, bakeries, medical and vending — all of which share the same core need: simple, accurate inventory and order management. Choose an industry below to see the workflow in context.
01 / shared operating reality
Purchase orders, supplier prices and stock levels stay visible before a shortage becomes a customer problem.
Recipes, batches, units and production detail can be shaped around the way each business creates its goods.
Customer ordering, pricing, invoices and follow-up connect the commercial promise to the operational record.
02 / friction index
Your customers are flat out running their own businesses and don't have time to chase you down to re-order. BSimple's ordering portal gives each customer a unique link with their own pricing, order history and payment details — so they can place an order in minutes, whenever suits them. Automated SMS and email invitations prompt them to order on a schedule, dramatically reducing the back-and-forth.
Once an order is placed, the invoice side shouldn't be more admin. BSimple feeds straight into Xero, creating invoices automatically as orders are approved. No re-keying, no transposition errors, and your financial records stay in sync without manual effort.
With barcode scanning built into BSimple, your team can count stock quickly and accurately on the warehouse floor — no clipboards and spreadsheets, no full-day shutdowns. Every scan updates inventory in real time, so your stocktake is done on the fly rather than consuming a day out of your week.
When order invitations are automated, no customer gets forgotten. BSimple tracks exactly who has and hasn't ordered, who owes money, and whose stock is due — making sure busy customers stay engaged and no revenue quietly slips away.
Every order lands in one place with clear statuses from receipt through review, printing, pick-and-pack, shipping and final invoice approval. Nothing gets buried in a shared inbox or a paper trail, so orders are fulfilled on time and customers stay happy.
03 / adaptable control layer
Packaging, coffee, food, medical and vending businesses do not move stock in identical ways. BSimple gives each one a connected foundation for customers, products, orders, purchasing, inventory and invoices, then lets the detail reflect the operating reality.
The useful test is not whether every industry sees the same screen. It is whether the system keeps the important record connected as work moves through the business.

View industry05 / practical capability
From experience currently collected, once coffee roasters achieve a specific size, there becomes a decent full-time labour input into roasting the coffee, running the various machines and running the administration. Generally, at this point, the demand to have a complete inventory management platform becomes critical. BSimple provides the inventory management for coffee roasters as its underlying technology is a transaction-based accounting platform (originally, 12 years ago). The inventory system is designed to support the business, not tie one arm behind its back.
