Enterprise asset management is the discipline of keeping physical plant running: asset registries with hierarchies and criticality; preventive maintenance scheduled by time or usage; work orders planned, dispatched and closed with labour and parts; downtime and reliability analytics; compliance histories for regulated equipment.
